Grand chess master, Garry Kasparov, speaker at DCAT’s Annual Dinner last week, has so graciously signed and dated a beautiful Armenian made, maple chess board with modern aluminum chess pieces for our Scholarship committee to auction-off. The scholarship committee will use the funds received from this auction to support their projects with the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA).

How the auction will work:

  • Bidding will begin at $1,000.00.
  • You must email your bid to Kelly@dcat.org. Please include your name, address and full bid.
  • Highest bid will appear on DCAT’s splash page each day.
  • If you have submitted a lower bid than appears on our site, you may re-bid and can do so as many times as you like.
  • Bidding will conclude at 12:00 pm on Friday, April 4, 2008.
  • Winner will be notified immediately.
  • Item will be shipped or can be picked-up at DCAT’s office.
