| Grand chess master, Garry Kasparov, speaker at DCAT’s Annual Dinner last week, has so graciously signed and dated a beautiful Armenian made, maple chess board with modern aluminum chess pieces for our Scholarship committee to auction-off. The scholarship committee will use the funds received from this auction to support their projects with the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA).
How the auction will work:
- Bidding will begin at $1,000.00.
- You must email your bid to Kelly@dcat.org. Please include your name, address and full bid.
- Highest bid will appear on DCAT’s splash page each day.
- If you have submitted a lower bid than appears on our site, you may re-bid and can do so as many times as you like.
- Bidding will conclude at 12:00 pm on Friday, April 4, 2008.
- Winner will be notified immediately.
- Item will be shipped or can be picked-up at DCAT’s office.
- Chessboard will come with a letter of authenticity from DCAT.
