Business Gets Done at DCAT Week
Robbinsville, NJ, March 22, 2012 – The Drug, Chemical and Associated Technologies Association (DCAT) held its annual DCAT Week from March 12-15 at the Waldorf-Astoria and InterContinental Hotels in New York City. The event features industry education programs as well as networking events that provide opportunities for manufacturers, suppliers and customers to learn about current industry trends and meet face to face. The week was capped off by the 86th DCAT Annual Dinner, featuring keynote speaker George W. Bush, 43rd President of the United States and Founder of the George W. Bush Foundation. His presentation included a moderated discussion with DCAT Sr. Vice President and Annual Dinner Chair J. Tyson Popp of West Pharmaceutical Services on leadership, decision making, and conviction.
“Participation at DCAT Week 2012 was through the roof,” said DCAT President Joan Connolly. “In fact, for the first time ever several programs and events (including the Annual Dinner) sold out. I believe that’s a testament to the unique business development, networking and industry education opportunities offered throughout the week. “
DCAT Week ’13 will be held March 11-14, 2013.
