A Great Day for Golf, Networking and Science Education
Robbinsville, NJ, June 28, 2011 – With the perfect weather and exquisite conditions at TPC Jasna Polana, the only thing that attendees at the DCAT Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 20, 2011 could wish for was a better golf score. This was the first year that DCAT held its golf outing at this premier private club and the response was so positive that plans are already underway to return next year.
“What a great day—you couldn’t have asked for more,” said DCAT President Bob Kanuga of Merck & Co., Inc. “Playing a course of this caliber was a real treat and I’m already looking forward to next year. I can’t think of a better way to network with colleagues and support DCAT’s science education initiatives with the NSTA and National Lab Network. Many thanks to everyone involved in planning and supporting this important event.”
Following a reception and dinner, Mr. Kanuga and DCAT Executive Director Margaret Timony thanked the program volunteers and sponsors who made the event possible. They also awarded prizes for the best overall foursome, closest to the pin, and longest drive.
