Stay at the epicenter of DCAT Week. Book your room now to stay at the Waldorf! The DCAT organization has reserved a block of sleeping rooms in a variety of styles for your convenience. The Waldorf will always provide those who reserve rooms within the DCAT room block the best rooms available at the time of check-in. Rooms at the Waldorf go fast, so don’t delay.

The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel and Towers –

Contact the Waldorf at 1-800-WALDORF (925-3673). Please tell your reservations agent that you are with the DCAT group. Use code DCC to receive special low rates and the best rooms. Reservations may also be made online by visiting www.waldorf.com. Go to Accommodations and then Reservations. Fill in your selected dates and under the Special Accounts section, use the “Group/Convention Code” box to type in code DCC. If your preference is the Waldorf Towers for sleeping rooms, please advise reservations when you are calling the Waldorf. You cannot use the Waldorf website for reservations in the Towers.

The InterContinental Hotel – 111 East 48th Street
Contact the InterContinental Hotel at 1-800-235-4670. To receive the special DCAT group rates, please be sure to indicate that the stay is for DCAT Week ’09. Or make your reservations at the hotel’s Web site by clicking here.

Those who use online services (i.e. Orbitz, Hotels.com, etc.) or corporate travel offices cannot be moved to rooms within the DCAT block, even if they are members of the organization. Therefore, we urge you to make your reservations via the Waldorf/Hilton and InterContinental reservation offices. Rooms set aside with a special DCAT rate for DCAT Week fill up fast, so please book early.

The DCAT Black-Tie Annual Dinner: It’s Like No Other!
Certainly not something to be missed, the 83rd Annual Dinner provides a unique atmosphere designed to further your business objectives and needs in ways no other event does. We look forward to announcing who will be our keynote speaker, one we are sure you won't want to miss.

If your company representatives plan to conduct meetings during DCAT Week, you’ll want to do it at the Waldorf. Why? Companies want to make the most of their time and make it convenient and efficient for their guests. DCAT member companies hosting business meetings during DCAT Week can take advantage of lower suite rates at the Waldorf. They can also select from a variety of meeting suite sizes and locations. Meeting Rooms Available in the DCAT Member Lounge
Two private conference rooms will be available for use throughout the week for DCAT Members. These conference rooms will be located in the Marco Polo Suite at the Waldorf.

Hospitality Suites at the Waldorf
There’s no better way to meet and entertain industry representatives than by hosting a hospitality reception preceding or immediately following the Annual Dinner on Thursday, March 19th. Spaces for hospitality receptions are reserved for member companies who purchase a table at the Annual Dinner. If you have not hosted a hospitality reception in the past, now is the time to plan one! The Pocket Guide is anything but little. From its impact on industry representatives throughout the world to its prominence during DCAT Week, it leaves a big impression. The Pocket Guide gets into the hands of each representative attending DCAT Week and the Annual Dinner, making it an ideal forum to promote your company, products and hospitality suite. Educational Programs
Part of the vast appeal of DCAT Week is the top-tier, educational opportunities for industry professionals just like you. In the coming weeks, we will share with you the details of the programs. DCAT Suite at the Waldorf
The DCAT staff administrative operations will be in the spacious Marco Polo Suite on the lobby level on the Lexington Avenue side of the Waldorf. Those seeking general information, name badges for the Annual Dinner or any other help can easily find DCAT staff from Monday, March 16th to 4 pm on Thursday, March 19th.

Member Company Lounge and Cyber Café
The excitement of DCAT Week has you going in all directions. So relax at the Member Company Lounge and Cyber Café in the lower level of the Marco Polo Suite. We have plenty of beverages, tables and comfortable chairs. Watch some DCAT TV, have a small meeting, use the Wi-Fi system to catch up on e-mail, or do some work before you dash off to your next appointment.

DCAT Press Room
Reporters from major publications come to attend DCAT Week, looking for industry news to share with their audiences. Why not capitalize on that and use DCAT’s Press Room to capture their attention? On Wednesday, March 18th, the press room will be available for member companies to reach out to the media via press conferences, interviews and press releases. We will also provide a board for you to post your press releases. We make it easier by providing the media forum for you.
