Center stage are education sessions, business meetings, receptions and the “famous” Annual Dinner.

About DCAT’s Councils:
DCAT’s Councils, designed for specific industry segments within the DCAT membership, are forums in which individuals from companies in the PharmaChem and Nutritional business can share common issues, ideas and have an opportunity to network. To participate in these councils, your company must be a corporate member of the organization.

The HR Council is a discussion group for DCAT Corporate Member Company human resource professionals and/or hiring managers involved in hiring and staff development interested in recruiting top talent and discussing compensation solutions.

The Program: The registration fee for this three hour roundtable discussion is $99 for DCAT Corporate Member Company representatives and includes lunch. Developing Leaders for the PharmaChem Industry: Driven by dramatic changes in the economy and the workforce, the current leadership shortage has become a predominant concern of top company executives. To address this talent problem, a key imperative for many HR professionals and managers is the focused development of early- and mid-career employees who exhibit the potential to reach company leadership positions.

This strategic research brief focuses on talent management strategies that provide junior-level high-potential employees (HIPOs) with adequate developmental support without a significant expenditure of organizational resources. The study explores four key requirements for the effective development of emerging talent:

Requirement One: Accurate, Efficient Identification of Junior HIPOs
Requirement Two: Appropriate Developmental Opportunities for HIPOs
Requirement Three: Explicit Support and Accountability for the Development of HIPOs
Requirement Four: Clear Understanding of the Efficacy of Talent Management Initiatives
